My Plot idea

Remember the idea about a plot I suggested for an Ice Age 5 on my review of The Raccoons and the Lost Star? Well, I'm about to tell you right now.

Leaves off from the ending of the first one, where Scrat caused the volcano to erupt with the same acorn incident except with the coconut. Well, Scrat manages to escape the island unharmed, but later ends up on another jungle island, one with no volcanoes. Instead of looking for more nuts, finally realizing that nuts bring him nothing but trouble, he decides to look for a friend and maybe even, a home, since he probably has none. Every corner he goes, every different baby animal actually takes a liking to Scrat, but each different parent shuns Scrat probably for his appearance, constantly forcing him to leave.

At night, Scrat finds a deserted spot in the jungle and curdles up alone. Then he sees what appears to be a shooting star, and in his mind, he wishes upon it for friends that would accept him for who he is, and also…that the shooting star doesn't hit him, as it comes down towards him. Scrat gets out of the way in time for the thing that appears to be a shooting star crashes down.

Scrat comes out of hiding, and sees that the shooting star is actually some plane-like spacecraft driven by an animal-like alien pilot. The pilot gets a call from his commanding officer that he has to return to his base. Curious, Scrat climbs into the passenger seat of the plane while the pilot isn't looking and is taken to another galaxy, one far away, like the Star Wars one, and to a strange planet that's sort of an exact replica of planet Earth. It is inhabited by many animal-like aliens, including ones that resemble a lot like Scrat saw back on Earth during the Ice Age; I'm talking replicas of each and every Ice Age character excluding Scrat, only with different names that rhyme with their earthling counterparts' names and they have antennae.

Upon his arrival to a giant base filled with powerful intergalactic weaponry, he's chased by the army of Imperial General Jutt (Captain Gutt's alien counterpart) and Galactic Overlord Froto (Soto's alien counterpart) who are both fierce dictators of the planet, and plan to work together to destroy the Planet Earth. Scrat manages to escape, but soon runs into a traveling alien named Weezo who has intelligence about many different planets, including Earth, and gives it to any stranger who doesn't know much about that stuff. It's sort of like how Captain Neweyes and Vorb gave the dinosaurs Brain Grain cereal to make them smarter, more civilized and more compassionate; that's what Weezo gives to Scrat, the same type of intelligence. It makes Scrat more intelligent, and more caring about others' feelings than he was back in the other Ice Age films, and also, he has been given the ability to speak. Come on, I'd really like to hear him speak sooner or later.

Soon he and Weezo, who tags along with him, run into the alien counterparts of some of the Ice Age characters (including Ranny (Manny), Wellie (Ellie), Zid (Sid), Drash (Crash), Veddie (Eddie), Kreaches (Peaches), Quis (Louis), and even an alien counterpart of Scratte (whom I haven't thought up a clever alien replacement name for yet), who, unlike her Earth counterpart, knows safety of others is more important than some lousy nut, and she can speak too.) They mistaken Scrat for some hero from another planet that will help them take down Jutt and Froto, so that the planet would be finally at peace.

They round up any of the animals that are enslaved by Jutt and Frodo, and they all become a secret resistance planning to take down Jutt and Frodo, not only for the sake of THEIR planet, but also to save Earth, since there are innocent lives on that planet, even Scrat knows that, thanks to Weezo's intelligence.

If this film had songs playing in the film, these would be the ones, which are all space-related:

    -          "Rocket Man" by Elton John (plays when Scrat is feeling lonely in space on that Earth-replica planet; after he escapes Jutt, Froto and their army)

    -          "Alien Nation" by Aaron Carter; from the Jimmy Neutron film (plays when Scrat looks around at the horizon of the planet)

    -          "New Planet" by Smash Mouth; one of my favorite bands by the way (probably during a chase scene with Jutt and Froto's army and the good guys)

    -          "Galaxies" by Owl City (during the end credits; a good song like that deserves to be in a good animated space movie like this; especially on the end credits)

Unfortunately, this is the best I could sum it up as, but there's more, I'll add more plot points when I can explain them better.

Although, it'd be more of a spin-off than a sequel, since it takes place after the Ice Age. Maybe "Space Age" or "Scrat in Space" would be a more appropriate title.

Now please no negative comments, this is just an idea.

Like I said, this may not be a good idea for the theaters, but maybe as a fanfiction. And it'll have to be that way after all, since Blue Sky refused to read the idea when I sent it to them.
